Built from 30 Years of Living with Migraine

A letter from the creator

I've lived with migraines for 30 years. I built MIgraine Companion not as a developer — but as someone who needed it to exist.

This app was created in Ukraine during wartime, often with only 8 hours of electricity per day. Sometimes less. In those dark hours — both literal and metaphorical — I worked on something that would bring light to others who live with chronic pain.

I didn't know I was building a narrative therapy tool. I was building what I wished existed — something that would make me feel less alone, less defined by my condition, more in control.

Mi isn't just a cute character. Mi is how I learned to live with my migraine — not as an enemy to fight, but as a companion to understand.
